Bill Connolly has been one of the most innovative people in Tampa Bay radio since landing in the Bay area in the mid 80’s. His comedy sketches, song parodies, and range of voices have been an influential part of making morning radio what it is to many Bay area listeners. Bill’s partnership with Mason Dixon has made them one of the most successful morning teams in Tampa Bay Radio.Bill spends countless hours “off-air” writing and crafting comedy bits for the morning show. His parodies, including “The Polka Challenge” contest, have become so popular, that many are now syndicated to other radio stations, worldwide.In addition to his many radio skills, Bill is also a talented caricature artist. In fact, it was this ability that brought him to Florida. Bill became a caricature artist at Disney World on the recommendation of “Beatle Bailey” cartoonist, Mort Walker. He has illustrated books and games, and authored comic strips, as well.Bill is married and has 2 children. When not composing and recording in his home studio, he enjoys soccer and basketball in “family tournaments” and eating anything his wife cooks. As crazy as his radio antics are, Bill is actually a mild-mannered family man and sees the Bay area as the best place for his family.
